Professional suspended flail mower AgroStar AMD series with an opening rear flap for 20-50 HP tractors. Available in 3 models with working widths from 1320 to 1720 mm. The opening flap is the key difference from the AM series — it allows easy cleaning, unclogging of the cutting chamber and switching between mulching and windrowing modes without any tools.

Opening Rear Flap — What Does It Change?

The opening (lifting) rear flap is the most important feature distinguishing the AMD series from the standard AM series. With it you get:

• Mulching mode (flap closed) — fine shredding of material, mulch remains evenly on the soil surface. Ideal for pasture and meadow maintenance.
• Windrowing mode (flap open) — cut material is ejected backwards in rows (windrows), enabling later collection. Useful for cutting grass for hay or green mass.
• Easy cleaning — the open flap allows quick removal of tangled material, branches and other debris from the cutting chamber.
• No tools needed — switching between modes requires no tools, saving time in the field.
